“With the shape of dew, may my body spread over the grass”. These verses belongs to the Japan tradition of the so-called “jisei no ku”, poems that had been used to express a goodbye when Samurais, monks or poets felt the death moving to them. This self-portrait and the related project are inspired by those verses to create a fantastic world, beyond time and reality; a world in which death is a time for suspension, a step towards the unknown.
