The artwork »Danaë 2020« refers to the ambivalence of loneliness. The initial painting by Klimt is the basis
of this reinterpretation.
The story is about Danaë who got imprisoned by her father King Akrisios of Argos. From one day to the other he stole her freedom. But that did not prevent Zeus, the father of the gods, to be with her. So he approached her in form of a shower of gold.
