Jesmonite sculpture inspired by Gormley's infamous figure silhouette sculptures. The artist in this case has entrapped the figure in a tiny shipping cage, as a new addition to his kidnapped and "Cage" series. For this particular work, he has chosen to enclose Gormley's otherwise free standing man, now sitting in a much smaller boxed frame, conveying a sense of captivity, discomfort, despair and inextricability. Weight 20 kg Edition of 5.
