The appearance of futility reveals itself when sometimes in the western culture we consider objects as a fetish. They’re embodied in our hope for immortality thanks to the ability we attribute to them of telling something of our history. But also the object, being similar to the human nature, can suffer the test of time, deteriorating and losing all the histories we wanted so much to hear.
